I'm sorry ... but

So Nick wrote a blog today about apologies. He's not a fan. 

Here's what I think.  It drives me crazy when people say ... 

"I'm sorry ... but ..." and then proceed to give a reason that they were justified for whatever the thing is that they are apologizing for. 

An apology means nothing when there's a big fat ass at the end of it.
