I have been taking reusable bags for shopping for awhile now. Can I just say ... at Super Target they bag groceries for you but when you bring your own bags the cashier kind of assumes you will be bagging your own groceries. Not normally a problem ... I would rather bag my own. Here's when it becomes a problem.
The belt thingy that the groceries go down is MUCH shorter than at a regular grocery store. This doesn't stop the cashier from sending all your business down with incredible speed. I am only one person ... two hands. I can't bag the shit fast enough to stop everything from getting crushed. If I have to pay $4 for a bag of chips I don't want a bag of crumbs by the time I get home. I really don't think that's too much to ask ... or maybe I do because I never say anything to them. I just bitch about it when I get home. Maybe next time.
I am taking Sue to see Twilight tonight. It was supposed to be her birthday present (her birthday was Nov. 13) but we both got sick and ... well ... we're going tonight.
Do you think we'll be the oldest ones there?
