Do Over

So everyone should get a practice run for their wedding because I'm pretty sure there is something that just about everyone would change about their Big Day.

I would change almost everything!

These are the parts of my wedding that sucked.

- photographer

- dress

- one of the bridesmaids (Adrienne, Diane and Marit are awesome!)

- my stupid ass idea not to see Nick before the ceremony

- food

- having the bridesmaids get their shoes dyed ... for the love of god, what was I thinking?

- my shoes

- my hair

- the dude who married us ... never met him before, never seen him since

The parts of my wedding that were cool were

- the free booze which flowed all night ... a wedding gift from a good friend of my dad who owns a bar

- the location ... The Lodge at Crooked Lake in Siren, WI ... just close enough that it wasn't hard for everyone to get there but far enough away that all of our lush friends had to get rooms. We didn't want to be responsible for anyone drinking and driving.

- getting married in December ... the place was all decked out with lights and it saved us money on decorations (yep, I'm cheap)

Anyway ... if I could do it again I would take the money and run ... to Vegas and have Elvis marry us. Then we'd go on a kick ass honeymoon.
