So I've gone from being completely irritated and pissed off at my kid to being totally in love with him yet again.
To actually have a conversation, you know the kind when you use your inside voices, and talk about stuff... I like it. I like this kid right now because right now he's agreeable, funny, quick witted, and clever. As opposed to disagreeable, crabby, smart mouthed, and disrespectful... which he was no less than three hours ago.
It is Thursday night and he did just find out he won't be going to his dad's for the weekend and there were threats (and promises) of a grounding in his future so that might have something to do with his change in attitude but... I'll take it! If he wants to be an ass kisser so as not to get grounded then kiss away!!
FYI- I know I'm a sucker... and I'm okay with that.
