So Crash went to the vet this morning and apparently he's looking good. The vet didn't seem at all concerned about the fact that Crash doesn't pee on a regular basis and if he's okay with it than who am I to argue. Crash's only problem has to do with his throat... kind of.
His epiglottis (a flap over the upper part of the voice box) is paralyzed. That's why he sounds like he has some sort of bronchial infection when he breathes. I guess his epiglottis is just flapping in the wind instead of doing it's proper job. I'm not really clear on what the proper job is but apparently it is not to flap in the wind. Anyway, this isn't something to worry about unless it becomes detached. If that happens he would need surgery or well... I guess he wouldn't be able to breathe and I'm not sure that he would survive anesthesia so... well, I'm sure you can figure it out.
Otherwise, besides your basic old dog stuff he's alright.
It looks like he'll still be kickin' for his 12th birthday in May.
