Unnecessary panic

So yesterday I wanted to watch a show that I had DVR'd the night before so I grabbed the remote and was just about to turn on the TV when Crash started his pee pee dance. I got up to let him out and then Layla wanted something and then I got sidetracked by facebook for a minute and then I got thirsty and so on ....

By the time I got back to my room to watch the show I couldn't find the remote. I looked around the bed, on the side tables, the floor ... I couldn't find it and I actually started to panic. I mean ... seriously ... how am I supposed to watch TV without my remote?!? Is that even possible anymore? It was one of my favorite shows ... what if I never get to see it because I can't find my remote? What if I never find it? Then what am I supposed to do? Um ... I really, really need that remote! "Layla ... help me find the remote!"

Of course I found it on the table by the door where I let Crash out but by that time I realized how ridiculous I am and I didn't even watch it.

I think I need a hobby.
