Role Reversal

So if you know me and have spoken to me in the last week you're probably sick of hearing how awesome I think my son is. If that's the case you should stop reading now.

Because he's pretty freaking awesome.

It's like he's a new person...the kind that doesn't fight with his parents and remembers his stuff. All of his stuff. Last year he would forget the most simple things...he'd leave his books at school or get things signed by us and forget to turn them in. This year already he has about 52000 things he has to remember and he's having no trouble at all. It's like his brain tripled in size or something. I like it.

On the other hand...

When Layla got home from school today I saw that her completed homework was still in her folder and asked her why.

She forgot to turn it in. Along with her planner. And she forgot to take her glue sticks out of her bag.

Oh shit!

Things must have gotten better after I left last night. You didn't take this post down. *wink* Thanks for dinner BFF.

Oh, the angst of motherhood! Both my grandchildren are awesome. Growing pains, that's all, growing pains.
