Milestones

So my baby, my former shy to the point of tears baby, is now the student leader for her class. In order for her to be voted in she had to get up in front of her class and give a little speech about why she would be a good leader for them. No biggie? YES BIGGIE!

This is the same girl that, just a few years ago, would cry if a stranger tried to talk to her. The same girl that wouldn't leave my side. The same girl that would only play at her best friend's house but would rather have her come here. The same girl that would still cry on the way to her best friend's house because she thought she might just miss me too much.

This is what she used to look like all the time. Notice you can't see her face...that's because she would always look at the floor. (First day of preschool)



She's not so shy anymore. She's a leader :)
